Canon: Kingdom Hearts; End of KH3
Age: Not given by canon, presumably Adult

Background Information: KH Wiki

Personality:

Ira is the stern, no-nonsense leader of the Foretellers, the five apprentices of the Master of Masters. And he has every reason to be, for that was the role bestowed on him by the Master before he disappeared. Because of that, it is a responsibility that Ira takes very seriously. Especially since, according to the Book of Prophecies, they are on a course for war, and he wants to prevent that. With his Master gone, Ira feels that he must step up as a leader, and is unfortunately left with large shoes to fill.

As a result, Ira comes across as very serious, and not especially the kind of guy who tends to lighten up. He's got a responsibility to uphold, not only to his Master, but to the other Foretellers, and the Keybearers who make up his Union. And that overrides all else, perhaps even to his own personal enjoyment of things. That being said, Ira's serious attitude does lead to ridicule from his Master, who often tries to get his apprentice to lighten up. It's not something that Ira is very good at doing however, though not for a lack of trying.

As a leader, Ira tries to be mindful, reliable and balanced. While he can be scary to approach, there is a kindness there and his heart is firmly on the side of Light. It's not an especially easy task, what with the words of the Book of Prophecy ringing in his ears and the potential for there to be a traitor among the Foretellers. Perhaps as a result of his taking things too seriously, Ira is quick to jump to conclusions and hold to rash decisions. While the other Foretellers are there to reign Ira in, particularly Invi, he can also be stubborn, digging his heels in despite other options being available. He has to see things through and find an answer, even if it does mean clashing with his fellow Foretellers (especially Aced, who wishes to take Ira's place as leader and deems Ira unfit as the traitor remains elusive)

It can also be suggested that implying there will be a traitor among the Foretellers was a deliberate ploy by the Master of Masters to set off his own plan to fight the Darkness. As part of it, Ira and the other Foretellers suspicions would allow Darkness to enter their hearts, which would lead to Ira having more negative emotions as well as anything pre-existing being amplified. This is seen particularly during the Keyblade War, where Ira and Aced finally clash, leading to a heated duel.

To counter that though, Ira is ultimately an idealist, who wants to believe in the Light and in his friends. When presented with the reality of the Keyblade war, Ira wishes to prevent it, even though his Master states it is inevitable. While determined to discover the truth, he does not want the traitor to be one of his friends and continues to believe in them. Despite their divisions, his friends are still important to him and he continues to count them as Lights against the Darkness.

Abilities & Inventory:
-Keyblade Master ( Abilities here)
-Keyblade (personal design, see his character's wiki link)
-Access to Magic of the KH Variety (Fire/Thunder/Blizzard/etc)
-Can create Corridors of Light to travel between locations

Suitability & Plans:

Kingdom Hearts is a series that plays a lot with dreams, different worlds, and alternate selves. As a character who would be considered a Keyblade Master, there's a lot that Ira might be able to discern about the world that would be fun to play with. Coming from the earliest point on the franchise's timeline, Ira presents an interesting contrast to other characters later on in the timeline, and as a character who's time is limited in the canon currently, I want a chance to explore the character more (as who knows when the games are going to get to it?). In other words, I just think he's neat and I want to explore that. (At least before canon completely overturns everything)

I have a soft arc in mind of Ira confronting his involvement in starting the Keyblade War, and his failure to prevent it, as well as dealing with the fallout of what happened with the other Foretellers. The opportunity to interact with both castmates and non-castmates will contribute to this growth I think and hopefully allow Ira to work through and overcome the guilt, grief, and likely Darkness that has been building up within him.

Also the possibility of turning Ira into an actual Unicorn at some point is too hilarious to pass up.

Questions: Can I turn Ira into a Unicorn?
In canon, the Corridors of Light were used to travel between worlds, but I would assume that would be nullified or limited in game?
