There were. A few instances on the moon, where, my fears and doubts overtook me. I took on the appearance of a Nightmare...and attacked some people. I am scared that that will happen again.

I used to have confidence in my strength of Heart. But now. I am not so sure.

It must have been a harrowing experience to take on the appearance of your nightmares. But, I'm sure everyone has nightmares. Surely that doesn't mean you're weak because of it. Fears have a way of working their way into our hearts.

I quite consider you to be a brave person.

I wish I could share your confidence, but I am grateful for it.

I just don't want to become a danger should we face something like that again. And I'm a bit lost as to how to snap myself out of this, I suppose.

Hmm. Think of it like this.

Being brave does not mean you're afraid of nothing. It means you're afraid but you keep going anyway.

There's no way to erase fears but learning how to face them, be about monsters our about ourselves, is what makes our hearts stronger.

Even if the problem is one and the same?

Of course! Now, what do you think you could do to make your heart feel stronger in the face of those fears?

[iracorn]

I suppose I've been avoiding people.
Seeing friends, might be a good start.

[concierto]

That is a wonderful start to discover! After all, a friend's care always makes a heart grow fonder.

And what else? Perhaps a passion or two?

You are correct about that.

I have spent a lot of time reading lately, so perhaps I'll need to venture forth into a different one.

There you are! Cultivating a fulfilling life is important, as they say.

It's unfortunate that they don't really mention the effort involved though.

I do have a solution for that. Sometimes a crisp glass of wine can help.

Certainly. My schedule, such as it is, is rather flexible. So, anytime, I guess.

Anytime it is! I've never been very good at keeping schedules myself. Why don't you call on me when you'd like?
